Subject: [a2-16v-list] Anybody have a spare 42 or 50 LOWER manifold and
a tape measure handy?? :)

If you could please, I need the measurement of the
length of the 'intake tract'.
I need the upper and lower sections measured
indiviually.
Ideally the inside 'long' wall would be measured, then
the inside 'short' wall, add the two numbers together,
and devide by 2 to get the effective length.

It is impractical to measure the interior though, so if
the 'long' and 'short' exterior are measured, the
number should be close enough.

I don't have any lowers around, or I would just do it
myself. I do have a spare 42 & 50 uppers, and I can
tell you that the 50mm upper has runners that are 1
inch longer than the 42mm.

An easy way to do this, is put a piece of tape along
the runner from end to end, make sure it stops right at
both ends flush,.....then peel it off, lay it flat and
measure it.

Thanks!!!
