I'm considering replacing the front wheel bearings.
Does anyone recomend front wheel bearing from Frisco?

Thanks,
Mark.

Now pardon me if this sounds stupid, but my nephew's Golf was making some
clunking too, he has studs instead of lug bolts, and had not torqued the
wheels down properly. We figured it out since he had painted the hub and it
had worn off only where the wheel made contact, and was sliding. Wheel
bearings will make a steady grinding/humming,louder as you gain speed, and
it
will change depending on load, maybe worse when you turn or brake, and less
when rolling forward (just did one on my beetle). It'll keep getting louder
if
its a bearing. If it was a remanufactured axle, it's not unheard of to get a
bad one, my son's on the frequent flyer programme for them. GL.
