All,
I put some old (but almost new) Yokohoma AVS-I's on my civic si and
started to pick up an odd pulsating vibration over ~80mph. The tires
are fairly old so perhaps they're damaged from sitting around for a
couple of years. I was thinking I'd swap them over to my GTI to use as
autox tires, and get some different tires for the civic. My question
is: which tires? This car will be my commuter, but will also see some
semi-hard driving around town and occasional autocrosses. The question
is, is the Falken Azenis acceptable on a daily driver? I'm inclined to
go with the ECSTA 712's instead, as I've heard they wear much better. I
want these tires to last at least 20K miles if possible.
