$100 sounds very expesive. I paid like 25 or 30 from G.A.S. in Berkley

A pick&pull would probably be the good choice as well.  Since both parts
are interchangeable you 
may have problems to source the right one from the dealer. And spect to
pay over
$200 from vw.
