My friend is working on this right now. There are two ways to do this; blow
through and drawthrough. Blowthrough, the turbo pressurizes the carburator.
Drawthrough, the turbo sucks through the carb, pressurizing the air and fuel.

For simplicity, drawthrough wins. However, there are some safety issues with
drawing atomized fuel through a hot turbo. Also, the use of an intercooler is
almost impossible due to fuel drop-out as the charge cools.

Blowthrough is a little more complicated, as the carb, specifically the bowls,
need to be able to handle pressure over atmospheric, which mot are not.

The best resource we have found for this are the old Air-Cooled guys. There
are multiple companies that have designed systems like this. A fair amount of
them even put them in Sandrails, which has to be a blast :)

I'll try to get the number of the guys who were going to sell us the "manifold"
to attach a single 40mm weber to the intake side of a T4 turbo. Apparently all
you need after that is a log type intake manifold the charge can be pushed
though.

hope this helps,
Pat
