The 91 Corrado G60 wheels are in fact BBS but the are 6.5
inches in width and the offset is ET33 (2 more mm towards the
outside). Not to worry, they fit the A2 chassis and are a great
upgrade if you can find a straight set, besides, they fill the wheel
arches out nicely. If you need some BBS/VW part numbers, lemme know
and I will pass it on to you, my son has my old set on his 85 GLI.
On the other hand, Tire Rack used to do some 15X6 steel wheels that
not only worked great for me on snow tires but on regular tires as
well. Rumor has it that they are no longer available but, with an
800 number to call, it might be worth a few minutes on the phone to
find out if that is true.........Jack
I am starting my search for a set of inexpensive track wheels for my '91
Jetta GLI. I've heard that G60 Corrado wheels are (15") 4 lug and was
wondering if 1) can anyone confirm this and 2) if the offset is the same
(ET35)? I don't care what they look like as long as they are straight.
Are there any other suggestions for inexpensive track wheels?
