The only posts I've made recently have been on the daily driver troubles.
That is the 92 Jetta GL. The problem was a power loss/ RPM drop between 2000
and 3000 rpm. The car bucks as the power drops and then resumes. BTW I've
changed the air box, idle stabilizer, O2 sensor, computer, added a ground
wire, cleaned all contacts, new plugs, wires cap & rotor, and the blue temp
sensor.
This left me to test the knock sensor. When I tested it the Bentley pointed
to the idle and WOT switch. Sure enough, when I unplugged them, the problem
seemed to disappear. I drove 4 - 5 miles and all is well. I'll know for sure
on my commute to work on Monday.
I did receive quite a few posts on this problem, thanks to all!
