Careful and make sure the car is not "written off". I know in some provinces
of Canada you have to go through severe safety inspection if you put it back on
the road

Last week someone ran into my 90 gli. I figured it would cost me about
$1000 to repair. Turns out Geico payed my the value of my car in nada
today plus/minus a little bit. $3100 and I get to keep the car sounded
like a fair deal to me. My very high estimate from a repair shop was at
$2700 so I felt ok taking $3100 and getting to take care of the repair on
my own.
