That would be interesting info. The traditional method is to use lighter springs and caps.
I've always used OEM Hydraulic lifters. But Im finding they don't last very long. Same experience on my 8V engines as well as my 16v. After about two years, they get noisy and I have to replace them to quiet them down. So much for maintenance free. -Les -----Original Message----- From: Mark Reda <[email protected]> Sent: Feb 21, 2004 10:52 AM To: a2list <[email protected]> Subject: [a2-16v-list] Lighter Lifters Does anyone know much about light(er) hydrolic lifters for the 16V? I came across this on Vortex 16V Technical http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1094732 Thanks guys, Mark Reda. _______________________________________________ a2-16v-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.a2-16v.com/mailman/listinfo/a2-16v-list For list archives, see listinfo link above.
