I have bilstein sports and H&R sport springs in my 91 gli. It is some
of the best suspension I have ever driven. I had Boge pro gas and Hor
springs prior to the current setup and there is no comparison. The
Bilstein and H&R setup cost more then most, but is worth every penny. I
would stay away from the H&R race springs as I have heard they are too
low and very harsh without giving you any significant added
performance. Also look at Shine real street suspensions. I plan to get
that for my wife's golf.

I actually had more difficult with the front sway bar because I kept breaking the links. I finally opted to return the stock 16V front.
Of course, I'm also replacing ball joints, tie rods, bearings, etc.

Yeah, this list used to be like 60 something emails a day to almost none
now. I wonder people switching to other cars or they know their car very much
now and know to fix everything.

I have neuspeed lower springs and Boge Turbogas combo and I like it very
much myself (installed since 1990). But I haven't ride on any other setups, so I
can't give you any comparision.

I heard a lot of people have this setup, may be that's the way to go.
By the way, I am doing a DIGI 1 Swap today, any tips from people who had
