I installed tt cams and had to call tt just to make sure I had the timing
right.  You should lay a metal ruler or something simiar across the head,
near the timing marks.  I believe when fully tightened down the center of
the dots will be very slightly below the level of the head.  This is all
by memory (2 years ago).
