me. I screwed up the nice Brazilian made black seal that I bought from GermanAutoParts.com and I was in a hurry to get it done over the weekend so I went to a local shop and they only had Felpro. I don't know what it was but I looked at that thing and decided "no way". I was afraid to put that thing on my engine.
It's a seal that's made in Mexico and looks quite a bit different in details than the one I bought from G.A.P. The outer lip of the seal is perfectly smooth whereas the GAP seal has ribbing... and something about the feel of the rubber, which is brown... I don't know what it is... I just got a bad feeling.
