I've never been one to follow the hype about plug wires, so I would go with whatever fits. Stock wires are fine for lots of power so I don't think there is any gain with aftermarket wires. For plugs I use the really inexpensive ngk plugs (bkr7e) at 1.50 each for my 16v turbo setup. I believe ngk makes one for the stock 16v engines too.
