I haven't yet used synthetic in my engine but I would see 250+ at track events where I was on the throttle for 30 minutes at a time. This was with the turbo and an oil cooler.
I do plan to run synthetic after break in though. Not in an attempt to lower the oil temps, but just to better resist break down due to heat. What synthetic is out there in 20w50 anyhow?
