i am sure that a good, sharp knife would let you remove the light but I'm sure 
the gasket would have to be replaced.  I was going to suggest a Permatex 
product called ADHESIVE SEALANT [Item 81158 (16B)] that I've used with some 
success.  It seems to stick better and weather better than your typical 
silicone glues.  That might be worth a try.  As far as Geocel 2320 goes, even 
though I have used it, I have not had to remove the items since installed.  The 
windshield butyl will come in a squeeze tube or in one that fits a standard 
caulking gun.
