I have a rust spot about 1" wide (now a small hole I'm sure) which is at the middle of the lower section of the front windshield rubber. I wonder how much I can patch or prevent it from spreading without removing the windshield. It is partially covered by the windshield rubber. I really don't want to have the windshield replaced.
