I'm glad to see someone is still drawing cars using old fashioned markers,
prisma colors, and velum paper.
The design studios have all turned to computer generated design, modeling, and
rendering which is evident in the style features of modern cars today.

In college, I was an aspiring car designer. I still have some of the same
drawing templates and tools that Chip is using in that video. However, my
skills were never quite as good as Chip's. My marker sets have all since dried
out and all of my vincent vellum paper has since yellowed and has been thrown
out.

I do have an old VHS tape somewhere that I used to record several GM, Chrysler,
and Ford designers that demonstrated their drawing skills in my classroom. I
need to find that old tape and digitize it. There were some amazing skills with
some of those guys from the old car studios.
