I have never been an American Classic car person so I never looked into this, but recently I ran across a Year One catalog and I was so sad to see how spoiled American Classic car fans are - they can buy almost any part for their cars new. I assume these are all pattern parts and not OEM but hell I would take that in most cases if the quality was the same. I bet some of these parts might have even been updated and improved over OEM.
I hope now that our cars are 20+ years old and are starting to be collected that an aftermarket works comes up to produce parts like Year One for American cars. It almost seems like you could build a whole new car right from their catalog if your budget was high enough.. https://www.yearone.com/ -Larry -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MK2-16v" group.
