Follow-up Comment #7, patch #8123 (project mldonkey):
It doesn't look like gdlib-config in gd 2.1.0 uses pkg-config; it's a
standalone shell script. Using pkg-config directly when available would be
great. Of course gd 2.0.x doesn't come with a pkg-config file.
