I know that linux & mandrake is stable operating system , still growing =
with advantage that can be
customise to your hardware and have control of it but please don't =
predent that every person in
mailing list and in everyday life knows how to program and use fully =
linux - mandrake.

For example , when my kusin or friend ask me to install program or show =
him something , I SHOW them
as simplyfied terms the steps as possible not to loose heart and/or not =
to come use of me for same thing=20
& going again to their computer's  !!!!

I did wented to sites that you apionted to me and I found even my =
specific modem's=20
by searching by myself but

My problem is to where , how  to write the commands to update the driver =
and
installing others  files with tgz 's

PS    Stefan ---   I have also an external modem  but it is USB soft =
modem ( planet ) and=20
becuase it is software driven ,  I didn't want to dare to attach it for =
linux.
