Now I am writing this email using my linux box as a netserver! What happened was that I was doing everything correctly but still nothing worked. So I went out and bought RedHat Linux instead. I used the same commands and it just worked!!!. (O.K. I modified something with the help from the sites you gave me but still before the same commands didn't work).
One thing - tell users to set Microsoft Internet Explorer to use a direct connection and not thru a proxy. This you never find written down.
