Instructions to unsubscribe from this list at the end of the message - --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hotmail is a website, not a mail server. You can't use a normal mail program with it. However the browser (Konqueror, Netscape or Mozilla) should work easily.
With a normal email client, mail is transferred from a mail server using the pop3/imap4 protocols, and TO the server via the smtp protocol. Hotmail doesn't use any of these. It just provides a web interface which you can use with your browser. Microsoft uses a proprietary ("secret") protocol to transfer the messages to/from the hotmail server in Outlook Express. - -- Ramon Casha Nhar Is-Sibt, 30 ta' Marzu 2002 16:39, inti ktibt: > Instructions to unsubscribe from this list at the end of the message > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > Hi everyone, > > I am ahving trouble to install email account for my address at > http://www.hotmail.com.
