The following is a link to a Novell web site and illustrates how one person is slowly getting Linux accepted in the workplace. Such little steps help WIndows users to lose
their fear of the unknown - the unknown in this case is Linux.

Please note that he is using Runtime Revolution as a tool which enables him to
get this bit of "sneaky acceptance" of Linux by Windows users.

I am hosting the European Revolution Conference here in Malta on 14-15-16
November. Presenting will be software developers from Brazil, California,
Germany, France, Scotland, and other countries. The CEO of Runtime Revolution
will be giving a keynote and will be available for discussion.

Monday & Tuesday will be FULL days of coding, examples, and discussion on how to
use Rev to make computer games, enterprise applications, and much more. All
presenters and the Rev CEO will be available for discussions.

Get in touch with me if you would like to attend, regular rates are only LM 20
per day (includes a buffet lunch) or LM 35 for both presentation days (15-16 November).

On Sunday there will be a keynote by the CEO of Runtime Rev, presentations from
several independent software developers, and an opportunity to meet everyone.
The fee for the Sunday afternoon meeting is only LM 10 (includes a drink or two ;-).

There are also education/student rates available - get in touch with me if interested.

Any questions? Either get in touch or post here (I guess that is alright, yes?).

From the url given above:
"In my search for tools to help Bill's sheep [Windows users] gain a modicum of success in the Linux world, I've discovered that one can develop purpose-specific pseudo-code language to translate home and office type problems into shell script solutions.

The main disadvantage to this approach is that, although the solution is viable, it doesn't fit the point and click actions beloved by Bill's sheep. So I found a better solution, one that allows the development of shell scripts and application windows to perform the pointing and clicking.

Unfortunately, it ain't OSS, unless an innovative and far-seeing company buys it and does the right thing.

My solution is to use Runtime Revolution ,".........
