I made a change to the article in the bit about user accounts. In Windows DLLs do not implicitly have access to the whole system. They run with the same restrictions as the program which calls them. Instead I added this bit:

"With limited user accounts, some risks of these risks are avoided - at the expense of the ability to install new programs or change certain settings, but there are still large parts of the system which have full access to the system - and usually can't be disabled."

I've also added a couple of screenshots which could be used with this article, showing Mandrake Linux's security settings.
