-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Christian,
have you tried getting it via HTTP? Your ISP might limit FTP downloads. Here's a good example: http://ftp2.de.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ Others can be found here: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/mirrors-ftp.html How much space would a FreeBSD mirror consume? If it's not too much we might consider mirroring it. Keith Christian wrote: | Hi mates, would it be possible to maybe host a FreeBSD mirror? I'm | having problems getting the 5.3 release. Or maybe someone knows of | a good fast mirror? It seems to be impossible to get it from the | public ftp server..and also i tried the UK, USE, Italy mirrors but | nothing..my download speed sucks. With a 1024k connection, i'm | downloading at 1kb/s lol | | Regards Chris. | | _______________________________________________ MLUG-list mailing | list MLUG-list@linux.org.mt | http://mailserv.megabyte.net/mailman/listinfo/mlug-list -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCEkfUym3HAdrlsyERAmNoAKCV3Iuljx2MQeRPEnyMe5BYmwjUcACeNti+ AzKECLm95P5ck+wAjcPQzj8= =q12k -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
