Hallo,
   I see some people are using PSpice and having to use it under XP. I checked,
and PSpice is now a Cadence product, and most or all other Cadence products run
under Linux, so you could check whether PSpice is also available.
   There are also open source or free Spice programs. I use Winspice and
ngspice. For interactive work Winspice is better, and runs well under wine.
ngspice runs natively under Linux.
