SO Guys, I just installed painkiller using wine, isntalled all the patches, used a certain program that came with teh release to make it feel at home and ran it. And it loaded. However got no sound in the main menu or the video or anything. Cue to this i quit the game, got into wine config and tried to setup audio. However all drivers i chose failed...Im guessing this is a problem with ubuntu using pulseaudio and thus restricting direct access to teh hardware...Anyway I can get wine working with pulseaudio ?
