Yes I can confirm that SolusOS is good, in fact for a distro that has only been out thee months and is now RC3 it very stable.
Ikey the chief developer wrote LMDE for Mint so he knows what he wants.  He is using a stable OS but with the latest programme packages and codec. My setup uses Kernel 3.3.0 which is patched for SolusOS, I started with RC2 and upgraded to RC3 with now problems it has not had any crashes up to now. So a great rolling release Distro which will work out of the box but scratch the surface and you can also tweak it as much as you want.
