I'm currently looking into database proxies. I've found MySQL Proxy and
DBSlayer so far. Haven't evaluated them yet. What are you guys using to
load-balance and route queries on different servers for sharding?
Our goal is to be able to route INSERT, UPDATE to a master stack, and
route SELECT to a slaves stack.
