As much as I hate to start this debate all over again: why do you say that the majority here are francophone?
This LUG was created in part specifically to meet the demand of those of us who do not consider French our first language. At the time of inception, there were many venues in French for the Linux community in Montreal and only MLUG in English. Last time I checked, there were 8 LUGs in Quebec, only two of which are primarily English speaking, and one of those is specific to McGill, that leaves MLUG as the only LUG not specifically tied to a school or organization. Andre, if you feel the need to start this debate all over again, please take it elsewhere, this mailing list is for discussing Linux and F/LOSS technical, legal and political issues, not Quebec language issues. Please consider this subject closed, we are not interested. Thank you. Nick Accad MLUG mailing list manager and senior member. 2009/9/3 Denis-André Desjardins <[email protected]>: > Mais voyons donc!
