Yes. It's here: http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=159201&filename=mnemosyne-1.2r1-intel.dmg I think the confusion comes from there not being a Mac bundle of the lastest version (1.2.1), but there is for version 1.2. I'm using that, and haven't had any problems. Just drag to Applications and away you go. > 2. What is the progress of the online version? This might be the best > way to achieve cross platform results. Although I'm not involved in the project, I disagree that the web is the silver bullet for all cross platform needs. It's cross-platform, but it's a web *page*, not an application (i.e. not all that usable), and it requires you to be online. I'd expect a lot of people review their flashcards on the train, on mobile devices or laptops, and probably aren't connected. > 5. (I mean no > disrespect at all.) I think the difference is that with that project and others (like Anki) the focus is on the software, whereas with Mnenosyne the focus is on the spaced repetition algorithm and research (correct me if I'm wrong). Personally, I'm using Mneosyne because I trust that a research group would create a better algorithm (and keep it updated) than these other projects, and I like knowing that my own learning results can help improve the algorithm. These algorithms aren't trivial, so I don't really know if these other projects have got it right.
