I haven't seen that, but I'll be sure to investigate if it happens here.
If you figure out a way to reproduce it, please let me know.

That's not how Mnemosyne behaves for me. It doesn't show me any
unmemorized cards until I've re-memorized all the forgotten cards.

I'm using Mnemosyne 1.2 from Debian Lenny (5.0) here and I'm not
"learning cards in random order". I'm also not using the Shuffle Queue
plugin or any other configuration setting or plugin that should affect
the order in which cards are shown.

I get that too and I agree that it's a little confusing. However, if I
close Mnemosyne and re-open it, then it doesn't show me any unmemorized
cards until I've memorized all those so-called "forgotten" cards, so I
think it's useful to have that counter.

I think the best solution would be to change the name of the counter
after you re-memorize all the forgotten cards. For example, here's what
the Forgotten card counter would say as you finished re-memorizing your
forgotten cards and started reviewing your unmemorized cards:

    Forgotten: 1
    Forgotten: 0
    Memorization Pending: 1
    Memorization Pending: 2

"Memorization Pending" is an unwieldy and somewhat inaccurate phrase;
if anyone can suggest a better short phrase, you'll have my
appreciation.

What do you think?

Thanks,
