Hi all, I'm totally new to the scene and am looking to use the mac version of the program. Part of what settled me on Mnemosyne of all the other options on the net was the fact that a previous user had made a set of cards based on my exact reason for pursuing a flash program - the FE Engineering exam (http://www.mnemosyne-proj.org/node/149). Unfortunately his set of cards requires LaTex. I'm having a hard time understanding how to accomplish LaTex on the mac. At this point it looks like I need to install a 1.3 Gb file (http://www.tug.org/mactex/ 2009/) to just see the equations within this existing card set! I'm hesitant to commit to this extreme installation, it seems like overkill. Anyone have any ideas?
