Hi all, I was getting really frustrated with how much time I spent marking cards "5" because I already knew them. (I'm extending my Spanish vocabulary using a downloaded deck.) Peter suggested that marking 5 a couple of times pushes them so far into the future that it shouldn't be a problem.
Nevertheless, I'm now using a different approach: whenever I run into a card like that, I delete it using keyboard shortcuts. (Alt-K, W, left, enter in my language, which is Dutch.) After a couple of days, I now see a drastic reduction of the numbers of cards to repeat, and I'm much happier this way. So it seems to me that a "never ask this card again" option would be extremely useful, if you need to keep the deck complete.
