Thanks for explaining the situation, Peter. I'll reinstall Tiger
somewhere and hope to edit and manage my decks there: while running
through Q & A daily under Mac 10.5.8 ~> 6.2 under my main
installation. Hope I can remember Tiger Rex...
Then to soldier on and see how complex it may be to set up a Mac
installation for Mnemosyne 1.2.2

Could somebody remind me which is the latest Mac OS that is usefully
compatible with Importing and Exporting XML Mnemosyne decks ? With
any luck it will also allow linking media to cards. I'm having
trouble doing any more than going through Q & A with established
decks
under OS 10.5.8 .
I'll try to stir some interest in the TidBits list in trying to
compile Mnemosysne 1.2 or 2 for Mac OS. My own mercury damaged
text
handling capabilities are not up to it just yet...;~}
