No, I had thought about inserting headers, but now I have found the problem and I have managed to import my cards. I had open the file with: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <mnemosyne core_version="1" > The problem was the newline. I just had to change it into: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <mnemosyne core_version="1" > This looks like a bug of Mnemosyne's XML parser.
