What kind of issues? Mnemosyne 1.2.2 uses Qt3 rather than Qt4. Most distributions still support Qt3 and the PyQt3 binding Mnemosyne uses, ancient as it is.
2.0, which does use Qt4, is coming along slowly. Peter Bientsman, the main developer, doesn't have a ton of time to work on it, so the current release date is "when its finished". I'd rather have a version that used Qt4 also, but currently the choice is between nice, new, and unstable, or old and supported.
