Shit. Today I imported my old Mnemo 1.x cards (about 6000 cards) into the
Mnemosyne 2 beta. My Mnemosyne 2 directory had about 700 cards before, all
new cards I've made since Peter made the beta available.

I noticed that the pictures for the cards I imported were put in the
db_media/images directory. I had been saving my Mnemo2 pictures to db_media
(not the images subdirectory). I thought it would be nice to put all the
pictures in the same place. So, like an idiot, and knowing in advance that
it would break the cards, I cut and pasted my recent card media into
db_media/images.

I knew this would break my cards, since the img src link would now be
wrong. What I didn't know was that Mnemosyne 2 would eat my pictures. After
closing and reopening the program, I discovered all my new pictures were
gone. I opened the db_media/images directory, I opened db_media. Nothing.
The pictures for my old Mnemo 1x cards were fine, but my Mnemo 2 pictures
(the ones I moved) had all mysteriously vanished. A search for their
filenames in the Mnemosyne directory turns up nothing.

Of the 700 cards, only 20 or so had pictures, so its not a gigantic loss. I
have no back up, unfortunately. I backed up my Mnemo 1.x files in several
different places, but didn't think to do that with Mnemosyne 2 Beta for
some reason. I won't make that mistake again.

Peter, any thoughts?
