I notice that when I do the
|bzr branch lp:mnemosyne-proj
thing to get the beta code, it won't work if the mnemosyne-proj directory already exists. If I delete the directory I lose the datadir:
    ~/mnemosyne-prog/mnemosyne/dot_mnemosyne2

what's the best way to do a beta upgrade without losing data? If I copy the data_dir out the way then replace it, would that work? Or should I simply move the datadir somewhere else entirely and use the -d option to the datadir when I start mnemosyne? Actually, that sounds like a good idea. I shall try that. Will it muck up synching? (Which I haven't got working yet anyway).
