Yes, there must be some lurking bug in the cloze code. Roel noticed something similar, but we couldn't recreate a chain of events that triggered the issue. So, if you have reproducible steps that show this behaviour, I'd be most grateful. (different than the 'bud', 'buds' cards, which is probably a separate issue and which I will look into separately) BTW, no need to delete a corrupt card: a dummy edit just adding e.g. a space at the end of the card should be enough to fix it.
