Sorry about this bug. I've just uploaded a new version which fixes it:

In the new version, each <img ...> and <sound ...> tags is replaced
with a string \ufffc\d*\ufffc" before the regular expression
substitutions are applied. The digits between the two unicode "object
replacement" characters are used to restore the omitted tags after
applying the substitutions. Not the most beautiful approach, but I
think it should work well in practice.
