I've done about 50 reviews on an XP system using your database without any problems...
Have you tried uninstalling Mnemosyne completely and then reinstalling it? If that doesn't fix it (and it also does not fix Henrik's crashes), I will have to take more drastic measures, like rebuilding Mnemosyne with the latest version of Qt and see if that helps. However, this will break sound support and therefore I would have to implement a new sound system, so I'd prefer to only take that route once all the other options are exhausted.
