Apart from generating these externally and then importing, it would be more 2.0-like to create a plugin based on the cloze card type to accomplish this.

Quoting "Scott Youngman" <[email protected]>:

Does anyone know of a tool to generate sets of cloze questions from a
list of items? For example, for a list of four items, it would
generate the following cards:

1. [...]
2. item2
3. item3 (Answer: item1)

1. item1
2. [...]
3. item3 (Answer: item2)

1. item1
2. item2
3. [...] (Answer: item3)

2. [...]
3. item3
4. item4 (Answer: item2)

etc. ...

This could be used to generate cards for ordered lists such as
Presidents of the U.S. in chronological sequence. The output would be
in a format which can be imported into Mnemosyne. I saw such a tool
several months ago somewhere on the Web but I didn't bookmark it and
can't find it now. Thanks.
