Hi!

While I was using Mnemosyne, my computer overheated and shutdown (it has been a
recurring problem, but I can't afford a new computer right now). When I turned
it back on, I opened Mnemosyne and it behaved strangely, displaying those
windows it shows when it is updating. Then, it created new files on my desktop
- apparently, a new database and its media folder - while opening a very old
version of my deck - about a month old - with over 1,000 cards missing. I have
had those shutdowns with mnemosyne before, but never with data loss (it would
keep even the cards I had just created).

So I looked on Mnemosyne's folder for a back up, and fortunately, there is one
that minimizes data loss. I can open it as usual, but when I try to save this
file directly from Mnemosyne, it displays the following message:

An unexpected error has occurred.
Please forward the following info to the developers:

u'C:/Users/Marcei/Application
Data/Mnemosyne/backups/up2-20130114-184734.db_media\\*.*'

Should I simply copy that file that has most of my data and rename it to
"default.db" since Mnemosyne won't allow me to directly save it or is there
something else I need to do first?

Sorry for the long message,
P.A.
