Hi,

What has happened is that you run into a conflict between the database on your laptop and your desktop, e.g. because you edited or reviewed the same card on both machines.

The dialog box you get then prompts you to pick which one of the two database you want to keep. The other one will of course be lost then.

If you want to change your mind later, you can revert to a backup on the other machine.

Note that adding new cards on two different machines is fine, but you'll get a conflict if you do something to the same card on both machines.

Cheers,

Peter

Hi

I have a laptop which is my locale. I synced to a desktop without no problem.
yesterday there was over 100 new card created on the desktop and some on my
laptop. I wanted to import them via syncing.

I started syncing and received an error message. the first choice was keep
locale data and I chose that.

what happened?

my database (laptop) replaced the desktop. so all over 100 cards were lost. I
tried to find them through open-backup files. but the cards are missed!!!

may any one help me?
I should mention that today I synced again and without any problem in some
seconds over 50 cards synced correctly.

best regards
ramin
