I'm not talking about a directory, just do 'file - open' and pick the file 'default.db' you've found in your screenshot.

I followed the steps, told windows to show the hidden files, found the
mnemosyne folder at the location you suggested looking in, but the only
default.db folder is default.db_media and it's empty. I've attached a
screen shot of the mnemosyne folder to show my options. Did I somehow
install it wrong? Thanks again for the help
