I hope it is fixed, and I'm glad that the solution was not to change the file names by hand, because that would take a while
default.db_media$ find . | grep [æøå] | wc -l 169 I did some more testing to figure out what happens. The problem happens when I add a media file with a non-ascii letter (for example ø) and then sync it into an already existing database on my phone. As the mobile app crashes, the desktop app hangs with "applying log entries" running, and I have to kill the desktop app and restart it. Thankfully no permanent damage seems to be done. A whole database sync works fine with no crashes. I guess the solution is to stop adding new media with æøå for the time being. Anyway - thanks for your great work!
