Hi,

Thanks for your effort! Just to be on the safe side, I will push out a new
version to the store where archiving of old logs will no longer happen
automatically, but only when you access a menu.

Cheers,

Peter

Hi, Peter,
Thank You for your kind follow-up. I have done as you suggested. It took me
some time, as I didn't even know what an apk file is. But I really learned a
lot, and it worked.
Even the troublesome 1.3.1 behaves well after the cure. So tomorrow morning
will show, I think.
A part of this problem may have been that my table-top still was running
version 2.4.
Looking forward to continue using your excellent program!
Terje H.

Hmm, 1.3.1 was exactly the version where I was supposed to fix this archiving
business…. Thanks for letting me know!

I suggest to download 1.3 from here:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/mnemosyne-proj/files/mnemosyne/mnemosyne-2.4.1/

Then sync to your desktop, uninstall Mnemosyne, install 1.3.1 from the link
above, delete /sdcard/Mnemosyne and sync again. I would be interested to see if
that solves things.

Meanwhile, I will push out 1.3.2 to revert the changes.

Sorry for the hassle!

Peter

Very unhappily, that was exactly when my Android app went into an eternal loop
archiving old logs, and never returned. I turned off after a couple of hours...
Trying again has been no help, either, as there is no choice about archiving or
not. Neither did it help switching my telephone off and on again....
Should I try uninstalling and then installing again? But then - what will
happen to my allready rewiewed cards ( a few days since last sync...). (there
are some 5000 cards in stock).
Best regards, Terje H.
