When I delete the last character of the password, that I used, it shows me 'wrong username or password', on Android and nothing on Windows. Therefore my login data was correct. Whilst I cannot completely exclude Firewall issues, this has worked before, so I do not think them likely.
... Sync worked immediately after uninstalling and deleting the Mnemosyne folder. Meaning, the chances, that it was a Firewall issue are close to zero.
