Hi,
Perhaps reading “I'm worried I'm doing it wrong!” on https://mnemosyne-proj.org/help/getting-started.php will address some of your concerns. I don’t think not reaching 90% retention is a problem, especially if you’re studying difficult materials. I mainly study language vocabulary in both directions. >From my quick research I found, that I should focus on retention from 90-95%. >My is like 80%, when I look at the last month. I also read the recommendations about how to rate the cards, but apparently its not working out for me so well. Do you guys have a good methodically approach on how to proceed with the ratings? I have especially a problem with rating new cards. Like some difficult cards I have a lot of repetition cycles already, but in a study session it stays often in my short-term-memory, so recarding that I should rate it high but regarding my long-term-memory I should rate it low. How should I know if I can remember this card tomorrow or in 2 days and how likely that is? This makes me crazy. :D greeting Manu -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mnemosyne-proj-users" group.
